Culture

The four C's.

"Culture is the root of the BCL program. If we focus on the root, we will get the fruit."— Tim Preston, Founder

C1

Character

The mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual. A bad character is like a flat tire — you can't go anywhere until you change it.

C2

Commitment

Dedicated to the cause. Respect the training. Honour the commitment. Cherish the results.

C3

Compete

Strive to win. Competitors use their setbacks to set up their biggest comebacks.

C4

Community

Fellowship through shared goals. Every achievement depends on people pulling in the same direction.

The pathway

From one team
to the NHL.

BCL started with one team of 1998-born athletes. Today it's 17+ teams, and our players have gone on to play at every level of the game.
